This ensures we have the right people in the right place to make effective and efficient decisions that are consistent with AGA\u2019s vision and purpose.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Job Title: Regional Industrial Relations Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AngloGold Ashanti Limited (Ghana\/Tanzania Business Unit) is seeking experienced and self-motivated persons to join our Regional HR team as:<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Regional Industrial Relations\u00a0Manager<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">This role is responsible to develop, revise or align IR policies, practices and procedures within specific jurisdictions. Adjusting Group IR strategies to align to local jurisdiction requirements and provide expertise and guidance on these to ensure consistency and standard application of IR policies, procedures and practices across the region.<\/p>\n<p><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Compliance and risk mitigation:\u00a0<\/b>Responsible to ensure quality and compliance of IR process, practices and procedures and overseeing employee risk mitigation activities to achieve industrial harmony<\/p>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Qualification<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Tertiary qualification in HR\/ Legal\/ Humanities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The position requires 10 \u2013 12 years\u2019 relevant Human Resources experience of which at least 5 \u2013 8 years\u2019 must have been spent at Senior Human Resources Practitioner level.<\/li>\n<li>8 years\u2019 experience in Industrial Relations with strong experience working in specific countries employment framework, labour laws, immigration laws etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience obtained in mining environment will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Dispute and conflict resolution experience gained from a unionized, multi-cultural environment will be an absolute necessity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) has implemented a new operating model to drive strategic alignment across the business with a common organisational design for the company to deliver its purpose.
