Undertake risk based audit activities to identify potential control weaknesses and make recommendations to mitigate related risks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: The Senior Internal Auditor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Undertaking Audits Inside And Outside Own Territory In Accordance With The Vodafone Group IA Guidelines And In Line With The IA Methodology<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate records to support and satisfy audit trails<\/li>\n<li>Record and report project milestones in accordance with audit guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Identify, analyse, evaluate and record sufficient information to achieve the audit\u2019s objectives<\/li>\n<li>Ensure sufficient evidence in audit working papers and file<\/li>\n<li>Understand and assess the risk profile of relevant processes<\/li>\n<li>Exercises appropriate judgment when quantifying the significance of risks and the effectiveness of compensating or mitigating controls<\/li>\n<li>Identify and communicate apparent failures in control framework within processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Professional\/Technical Skills<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6+ years audit experience (at least 4 years in Technical \/Infrastructure Computer Auditing)<\/li>\n<li>Relevant frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, COSO, ISO17799\\ISO27001, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Technical\/infrastructure knowledge is essential i.e. detailed knowledge of the following technology platforms:<\/li>\n<li>Operating systems \u2013 UNIX, LINUX, Windows<\/li>\n<li>Databases \u2013 SQL, Sybase, Oracle<\/li>\n<li>IT Networks<\/li>\n<li>Firewalls<\/li>\n<li>Data Centre<\/li>\n<li>Critical thinking Skills<\/li>\n<li>Complex problem solving Skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Senior Internal Auditor supports the audit function to give the Group Board and Management, risk based independent assurance of the effectiveness of the Group\u2019s internal controls.
