Responsibilities include:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide overall program direction and technical expertise<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the project\u2019s principal liaison with USAID, institutions, and client partners<\/li>\n<li>Lead coordination efforts with government counterparts, donors, and other key stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Supervise a diverse professional staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree or equivalent experience in public health, medicine, social sciences, or an equivalent field required<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of mid-to-senior level experience in health, specifically HIV\/AIDS programming, prevention, treatment, and care<\/li>\n<li>Minimum five years at a senior leadership level directing a health project<\/li>\n<li>Minimum eight years of experience living and working in a developing country<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to create and maintain effective working relations with senior government personnel, NGO partners, U.S. and foreign government organizations, and donor partners<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of regional health issues<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English and French required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Monitoring and evaluation specialists will work on program-specific HIV\/AIDS monitoring and evaluation efforts in coordination with project technical specialists.<\/div>\n<div><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, social science, or other related discipline required<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of monitoring and evaluation experience in health<\/li>\n<li>Five years of directing monitoring and evaluation in a large-scale USAID project preferred<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of program design and development<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with complex databases<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and French required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><span>4. Health Specialists<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Chemonics International seeks senior-level health specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded health project to expand the use of best practices in HIV\/AIDS throughout West Africa. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
