Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

CARE International is looking for two (2) dynamic, experienced and motivated persons to fill the positions of Project Officer (PO) on the Cadbury Cocoa Partnership Project. The project aims to improve livelihoods in cocoa-growing communities and secure cocoa production in parts of the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions.
\nThe Project Officer 1 will be responsible for the operational and tactical management of project activities \u2013 planning, organizing, implementing and directing. The 2 POs will be based in Kumasi and will be required to travel to project communities in Ashanti, Brong Ahafo and Western Regions (in the future).\u00a0 The POs will report directly to the Project Manager in the Cocoa Livelihoods and Empowerment Programme (CLEP) Office in Kumasi.<\/p>\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROJECT OFFICER 1
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Work with project manager in preparation of work plans, capacity building modules, planning and delivery of project activities by Project Facilitators and other partners at the District level<\/li>\n
  • Facilitate, develop, manage and supervise relationships and activities of beneficiary communities and collaborating partners<\/li>\n
  • Facilitate and support all M&E processes of the project<\/li>\n
  • Ensure timely provision of logistics to Project Facilitators in the execution of project activities and ensure efficient management of project resources.<\/li>\n
  • Provide on-site supervision, monitoring and support to district project staff, communities and other stakeholders<\/li>\n
  • Compile and submit monthly project field reports in a timely manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
