{"id":7049,"date":"2012-02-15T08:37:59","date_gmt":"2012-02-15T08:37:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=7049"},"modified":"2013-12-26T15:51:32","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T15:51:32","slug":"sandvik-mining-jobs-in-ghana-trainer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/sandvik-mining-jobs-in-ghana-trainer.html","title":{"rendered":"Sandvik Mining Jobs in Ghana: Trainer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Sandvik Mining and Construction Ghana Ltd, is a company that markets a broad range of products and services utilized in the mining industry and is in the ownership of Sandvik AB, a company listed on the Stockholm stock exchange<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of Job:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Developing training materials as well as offering actual training which is adapted and integrated with technical training as well as customers on our expertise for their productivity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify needs for, develop, introduce, implement and follow up global training programs that are in line with the Sandvik Mining and construction West Africa strategy and global market plans with a special focus on Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Develop and produce training materials for technical competence development together with\u00a0Training Academy<\/li>\n<li>Conduct internal and external product and application training<\/li>\n<li>Offer basic product and technical training in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Support on-site product and application training and demonstration<\/li>\n<li>Being responsible for training programs with focus on technical training<\/li>\n<li>Being part of ensuring that the training plan for Ghana is followed<\/li>\n<li>Being part of ensuring that all technical training within Sandvik follows certain standards and certifications<\/li>\n<li>Being part of ensuring that the potential for new ways of training (eLearning, blended learning, etc) is exploited where applicable<\/li>\n<li>Other position related tasks requested by Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering, aerospace or automotive<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years technical background or training experience with mining industry concepts<\/li>\n<li>Good problem solving and presentation skills, ability to manage time and to prioritize tasks<\/li>\n<li>Good command of the English language and PC skills<\/li>\n<li>Business skills &#8211; Being able to see the importance of training as a vehicle to develop market shares and increases sales<\/li>\n<li>Pedagogic skills &#8211; Understanding adult training<\/li>\n<li>Training skills &#8211;
