All positions are based in Accra with extensive travel in the cocoa-growing areas in Ghana. The ability to speak Ghanaian languages would be an advantage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Under the direct supervision of the Programme Director, the Programme Manager for Monitoring and\u00a0Evaluation will be responsible for coordinating all M&amp;E activities of the project. The responsibilities of the Programme Manager for Monitoring and Evaluation will cover but not be limited to the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Serve as a technical resource person on all matters concerning M&amp;E and knowledge sharing<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen the existing Planning and M&amp;E framework for the Cadbury Cocoa Partnership programme especially for learning and development<\/li>\n<li>Support implementing partners in planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and operate a database that is periodically updated to reflect progress and performance<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and coordinate the regular collection, compilation, and management of project data across the implementing partners<\/li>\n<li>Harmonise monthly reports from the implementing partners into quarterly reports<\/li>\n<li>Undertake regular assessment and monitoring field visits to programme areas<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pre-requisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An MA or MSc in Planning, Statistics, etc<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years consistent experience in monitoring and evaluation of development interventions<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to work under tight deadlines and to handle potentially controversial and\/or very sensitive issues that require clarity, accuracy and speedy responses<\/li>\n<li>Must have excellent data management and reporting skills; and must be conversant with participatory M&amp;E approaches.
