{"id":72401,"date":"2022-09-12T22:29:58","date_gmt":"2022-09-12T22:29:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=72401"},"modified":"2022-09-12T22:29:58","modified_gmt":"2022-09-12T22:29:58","slug":"dangote-industries-limited-vacancies-2022-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/dangote-industries-limited-vacancies-2022-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Dangote Industries Limited Vacancies 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Laboratory Technician<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the testing of mines samples and assist with the maintenance of equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KEY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished samples.<\/li>\n<li>Collect samples according to approved quality plan.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out preliminary preparation of sample collected for X-ray analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out sieves and moisture analysis of samples.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare slides and make microscopic observations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure cleaning of sample collection points.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in managing inventory of chemicals and laboratory items including glassware in the laboratory stores.<\/li>\n<li>Escalate any identified deviations from target quality standards promptly to the supervising Technologist.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend and implement improvements to the plant\u2019s laboratory operations and maintenance of lab equipment and instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective house-keeping in the laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the maintenance of ISO quality management systems in the unit.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of periodic lab analysis and activity reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Quality Control &amp; Assurance or relevant supervising Officer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in any discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good problem solving and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of laboratory terminology and equipments<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle samples and operate lab equipments<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pay attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description Job Title: Laboratory Technician JOB SUMMARY Assist in the testing of mines samples and assist with the maintenance of equipment.
