Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Chute Operator<\/strong><\/p>\n ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 The Chute Operator will be expected to safely operate the Wabby Chutes for effective loading of train hoppers\/trucks for efficient transportation of materials to tipping points.<\/p>\n KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Assess risks for all tasks and ensure they are controlled before and during task execution. \n\u2022 Report all incidents and ensure they have been investigated and corrective actions completed on time.
\n\u2022 Act on all corrective actions assigned to you or under your jurisdiction and ensure timely completion.
\n\u2022 Comply with AGAG Environmental Management, compliance and other legal requirements.
\n\u2022 Take action to prevent environmental pollution
\n\u2022 Comply and follow the operating procedures and environmental rules for the performance of the assigned job
\n\u2022 Assist for the efficient operations of the train in terms of prevention of derailment, and also assist in derailment works
\n\u2022 Identify the necessary hazard that can damage infrastructural installations\/systems and correct anomalies during operations
\n\u2022 Maintain good working knowledge of chute and train operations
\n\u2022 Assist the locomotive engine driver to safely deliver the trammed materials to the tips
\n\u2022 Ensure material usage are as per plan and prevent
\n\u2022 Keep records of all trammed activities during the shift and report to repository
\n\u2022 Report to the supervisor of any suspected collusion.
\n\u2022 Ensure that the workplace is well house kept<\/p>\n
