{"id":7327,"date":"2012-04-02T07:39:37","date_gmt":"2012-04-02T07:39:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=7327"},"modified":"2016-11-18T13:05:34","modified_gmt":"2016-11-18T13:05:34","slug":"newmont-ghana-gold-recruitment-april-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/newmont-ghana-gold-recruitment-april-2012.html","title":{"rendered":"Newmont Ghana Gold Recruitment (April 2012)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/jobs-ghana\/newmont-ghana\">Newmont Ghana<\/a> Gold Limited<\/strong> a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation, one of the World&#8217;s largest gold mining companies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will operate HDPE fusion machines, operate equipment, monitor pumps and work safely.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install, monitor and operate various dewatering pumps<\/li>\n<li>Welding HDPE pipes from 150 to 315mm<\/li>\n<li>Operate various equipment for moving pumps such as 966 Cat loader, 226 skid-steer loader-forklift, boom trucks and HDPE welders, pipes and supplies<\/li>\n<li>Must possess and demonstrate good mechanical skills relating to dewatering pumps, HDPE pipelines and HDPE fusion welding machines<\/li>\n<li>Lay out pipelines for dewatering and follow HSLP procedures and comply with SOP&#8217;s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three to five years technical from an accredited trade school<\/li>\n<li>Experience in pipeline layout, HDPE fusion welding, equipment operation, trouble-shooting experience in portable pump maintenance operation and installation of portable pumps<\/li>\n<li>Crane rigging and mining experience is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Must be in good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy loads, willing to work in adverse weather conditions and on right shift<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be considered for these position, please send your application letter and current CV with references, indicating your e-mail address, telephone contact information to the address below:<\/p>\n<div><strong>The Human Resource Manager<br \/>\nNewmont Golden Ridge\u00a0Limited<br \/>\nP.
