Putting people first is a core Kinross value, and our chief priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of every employee and contractor who works for us.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose:<br \/>\n<\/strong>To assist with the development of the company&#8217;s engineering apprenticeship and workplace training programs by providing inputs and feedbacks to the engineering manager and stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Offer Support and assistance in the development of the company&#8217;s trainees<\/li>\n<li>Assist the engineering department in all training needs and liaise with external training providers to improve the skills of engineering staff.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and facilitate the implementation of skills training programmes for engineering staff.<\/li>\n<li>Provide experience based advice.<\/li>\n<li>Work to establish and maintain an ongoing relationship with engineering apprentices.<\/li>\n<li>Provide performance feedback and direction to the Apprentices<\/li>\n<li>Document monthly meetings and progress.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the apprentices in developing and implementing the related instructions and on the job training program.<\/li>\n<li>Discuss and provide support and guidance in dealing with issues and challenges that occur in the workplace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree or HND in Mechanical \/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar position in the mining industry<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to share wisdom and knowledge gained from personal experience.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate, outlook, word, excels and power point.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional planning, organizational, lesson plan development and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to assist others in developing skills and knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to providing support and direction to apprentices<\/li>\n<li>Tolerant and respectful of individual differences.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to balance personal and professional commitments.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to liaise with external training providers and internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be considered for the above positions, please send your application letter and current CV with references, indicating your e-mail address, telephone contact information to the address below:<a href=\"mailto:Chirano.hr@kinross.com\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:Chirano.hr@kinross.com\"><strong>Chirano.hr@kinross.com<\/strong><\/a><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nOr<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Human Resources Manager<br \/>\nChirano Gold Mines Limited<br \/>\nP.
