Apply &amp; develop new analytics to yield business insights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Geo Marketing Analyst<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Customer and Market Profiling<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Integrate and analyse market research data, official statistics, and internal MIS to adequately profile our customers and markets at both national and decentralized levels (territories, regions, circuits, zones etc).<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with various national and local governmental agencies, research institutions and other organizations to access secondary data for a robust geo-marketing capability.<\/li>\n<li>Provide in-depth understanding of regional and zonal operational and financial performance<\/li>\n<li>Support Marketing, Customer Operations, Sales &amp; Distribution, MFS and Enterprise Business with insights for roll-out efforts (Outdoor visibility, POS deployment, etc).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Footprint Expansion<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recommend and drive the prioritization of network coverage expansion efforts with rigorous market analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the development and use of user-friendly GIS tools for spatial awareness, decision making and executions.<\/li>\n<li>Provide web apps for wireless planning and service qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Support Network engineers with visualization of existing and proposed towers and cell locations, RF coverage, fibre infrastructure, and suitable areas for new antennas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Market Intelligence<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively gather intelligence on competitors in the regions versus Vodafone Ghana\u2019s regional and territorial footprints.<\/li>\n<li>Propose marketing solutions based on data collection and analysis through the DB and GIS software.<\/li>\n<li>Apply &amp; develop new analytics to yield business insights.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain quality control of collected information, ensuring accuracy and privacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies, Knowledge, And Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In-depth experience in Business Analysis &amp; Planning.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using SQL and Statistical languages, data mining &amp; geo-marketing modelling (GIS Technologies, Big Data Tools, ETL Tool \/ Esri ArcGIS or other GIS tools).<\/li>\n<li>Aware of various sources for official statistics.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in database management (systems &amp; processes) is highly desired.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of consumer behaviour and psychology.<\/li>\n<li>Very strong business acumen and competitor awareness.<\/li>\n<li>Mastery of Ghana\u2019s geography, demography, and economic trends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical \/Professional Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Geo-Informatics, Geomatics, Operations Research or Geography with adequate Business Courses.<\/li>\n<li>A Master\u2019s Degree in Engineering Management, Business Intelligence Systems is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of relevant post-National Service working experience in Telecoms\/FMCG.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years experience in data analysis, marketing surveys, and research-oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting to the Geo Marketing &amp;
