The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Distribution Support Officer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role functions as a subject matter expert in a specific field of administration\/product\/process.<\/li>\n<li>Often acts as a point of escalation for matters with a higher levels of complexity than those handled by Administration Specialists.<\/li>\n<li>Often acts as a consultant w.r.t decision making of operational and or tactical importance (typically deliverables are part of level three plans).<\/li>\n<li>Could act as an expert resource on major projects or could be accountable for the delivery of projects within the division or Business Unit (BU).<\/li>\n<li>May act as a coach for Specialist Staff<\/li>\n<li>Often consulted for system enhancements.<\/li>\n<li>Could be accountable for major administration processes and the project management thereof (usually with an extended timeline in excess of a month).<\/li>\n<li>Strong support role to the BU Executive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation Processing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Functions as a subject matter expert in a specific field of administration \/ product \/ process.<\/li>\n<li>Often acts as a point of escalation for matters with higher level of complexity than those handled by Administration Specialists.<\/li>\n<li>Often acts as a consultant w.r.t decision making of operational and or tactical importance (typically deliverables are part of level three plans).<\/li>\n<li>Could act as an expert resource on major projects or could be accountable for the delivery of projects within the division or BU.<\/li>\n<li>Advises on system enhancements and testing<\/li>\n<li>Coaches specialist staff (if required)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Effectiveness:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.<\/li>\n<li>Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.<\/li>\n<li>Accepts and lives the company values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quality Assurance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs quality checks on own work<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to service and quality standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Technical Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Execution<\/li>\n<li>Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Initiating Action<\/li>\n<li>Information Monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Distribution Support (Reporting, Productivity Management and Relationship Management with Partners).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree from an accredited University<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Checks, manipulates and analyses volumes of data and draws conclusions from the analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Specialist knowledge and possible formal training in field of expertise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role utilizes expert knowledge in the specific fields of administration\/product\/process to resolve technical and complex problems, usually in support of administrative queries\/issues.
