{"id":7542,"date":"2012-05-02T07:10:40","date_gmt":"2012-05-02T07:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=7542"},"modified":"2016-11-18T13:05:34","modified_gmt":"2016-11-18T13:05:34","slug":"newmont-ghana-gold-limited-mine-surveyor-underground","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/newmont-ghana-gold-limited-mine-surveyor-underground.html","title":{"rendered":"Newmont Ghana Gold Limited: Mine Surveyor &#8211; Underground"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Newmont Ghana Gold Limited<\/strong> a subsidiary of <a href=\"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/jobs-ghana\/newmont-ghana\">Newmont Mining<\/a> Corporation, one of the World&#8217;s largest gold mining companies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will report to the Chief Surveyor and will provide survey capacity for the underground mining activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement standards for the Technical Services and the Survey Departments<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and be accountable for accuracy of all &#8220;Survey Notes&#8221; issued and actively participate in SafeChek process<\/li>\n<li>Carry out allocated survey work underground, End of Month pick-ups and be accountable its accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Conduct CMS surveys as required in a timely manner and make the data available<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and propose optimum solutions for problematic situations (based on accumulated data\/information) which threaten\u00a0the achievement of planned objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily\u00a0all inclusive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A tertiary qualifications in Survey with knowledge of baseline, geodetic and cadastral survey<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum of 5 years surveying experience, with at least 2 years specific underground mine surveying<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Surpac and Vulcan survey programs<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge in the use of Leica survey instruments, CMS and GPS equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be considered for this position, please send your application letter and current CV with references, indicating your-email address, telephone contact information to the address below:<\/p>\n<div><strong>Human\u00a0Resources Manager<br \/>\nNewmont Ghana Gold Limited<br \/>\nP.
