{"id":76157,"date":"2022-11-07T09:47:11","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T09:47:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=76157"},"modified":"2022-11-07T09:47:11","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T09:47:11","slug":"vodafone-ghana-jobs-2022-31","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/vodafone-ghana-jobs-2022-31.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone Ghana Jobs 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for the architecture and design of the optical transport network infrastructure and services in adherence to relevant standards and best practices in accordance with Vodafone and the industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Optical Transport Design Specialist\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assures the current and future integrity of the optical transport network by:<\/li>\n<li>Defining and implementing solutions that align with best practices and future strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring internal and external suppliers, partners and customers are aware of best practices and future strategies and adhere to them.<\/li>\n<li>Review other&#8217;s work (e.g. Solutions Delivery and Operations teams) to ensure they are in line with best practices and future strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend and drive improvement actions in line with Vodafone\u2019s continuous improvement techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Escalation point for difficulties in fault resolution and problem-solving by operational staff.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date documentation on current network architecture and services.<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of the Vodafone Ghana optical backbone transport network and access infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of future strategy &amp; roadmap documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional \/ Technical Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent qualification<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years experience in telecoms network with at least 4 years in a transmission planning\/design role<\/li>\n<li>Project Management. (desirable)<\/li>\n<li>Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of optical transmission technology and services \u2013 SDH, DWDM, OTN, SDN &amp; IP &amp; MPLS, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in optical transport network architecture and service planning, design, delivery, integration, and acceptance test procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for the architecture and design of the optical transport network infrastructure and services in adherence to relevant standards and best practices in accordance with Vodafone and the industry.
