Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title: Rise Project Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

End Results Expected<\/b><\/p>\n

Carry out needs assessment and reviews in communities to determine development interventions that are required\u00a0 and are consistent with WV Ghana strategic plan<\/p>\n

Reviews conducted and incorporated into the\u00a0 RISE\u00a0 Project model<\/p>\n

Coordinate the preparation of Education and Life Skills projects plans and budgets within the cluster.<\/p>\n

All components of the RISE TP methodology implemented and assuring the full fidelity of the project model.<\/p>\n

Ensure availability of qualitative and quantitative Education and Life Skills data and information for input into Horizon and CWBT report.<\/p>\n

Take part in the data collection and reported accordingly in Horizon<\/p>\n

Build capacity of Development Facilitators, volunteers, communities, Church and Government partners and other partners in Education and Life Skills issues.<\/p>\n

Volunteers, teachers, church and Government partners\u00a0 and\u00a0 teachers trained to incorporate the five key reading components in their lessons.<\/p>\n

Participate in children mapping and monitoring processes in communities to ensure the participation of children (including RC and the most vulnerable) and their families in AP activities.<\/p>\n

Children were monitored and RCs intentionally covered and accounted for.<\/p>\n

Facilitate communication between RC and their sponsors and ensure that Sponsorship Key Performance indicators are met in all the communities forming the Area Programme.<\/p>\n

Strong relationships were built between community stakeholders and implementation partners such as GHS, GES, the Birth and Deaths department, \u00a0and the Environmental Health Unit \u00a0Services.<\/p>\n

Participate in RC registering, monitoring and data processing for marketing.<\/p>\n

RCs\u00a0 are registered and monitored and data collected for marketing<\/p>\n

Ensure implementation of Audit and Risk Assessment recommendations in Education and Life Skills projects and their impact areas within the cluster.<\/p>\n

Audit and Risk recommendations in Education and Life skills implemented.<\/p>\n

Facilitate and report (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) on Education and Life Skills activities, outputs and outcomes in Aps communities.<\/p>\n

Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports on Education and Life skills submitted on a timely basis.<\/p>\n

Ensure effective representation of World Vision at the Area Programme level related to Education & Life Skills and report on them to the Programme Manager.<\/p>\n
