He\/she will be lead negotiations and obtain consent to compensate property owners<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Manager, Land Development Resettlement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Oversee measurement calculations of sites and writing descriptions of property boundaries.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure the preparation and maintenance of sketches, maps and reports of legal descriptions of surveys.<br \/>\n\u2022 Plan, forecast and satisfy all land related obligations necessary to verify the validity of lands.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare valuation reports.<br \/>\n\u2022 Carry out valuation analysis using a range of approaches and methods.<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaise with Lands Commission and Acquiring Agencies on land ownerships.<br \/>\n\u2022 Research legal documents, survey records and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries.<br \/>\n\u2022 Estimate the market value of lands, buildings and commercial (real estate) properties<br \/>\n\u2022 Keep up to date with the property market.<br \/>\n\u2022 Complete compensation assessments<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead and develop the Valuation Team so that they have the skills, experience and motivation necessary to deliver an excellent service.<br \/>\n\u2022 Set team and individual performance objectives linked to the mandate of the organisation and ensure that the objectives are achieved.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide leadership on all professional and technical issues resulting from the team\u2019s operations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Undertake appraisals and regular one on one meetings with all directly managed staff<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Competency Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Problem solving.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong written and verbal communication.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong Decision Making.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to develop effective internal and external relationships.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to effectively lead a team<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum of 9 years of related work experience with 3 years of experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Professional Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Master\u2019s degree in Land Economy, Estate Management or a related field<br \/>\n\u2022 Membership to GHIS (Ghana Institution of Surveyors) is desirable<br \/>\n\u2022 Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities is a plus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Accra<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply For The Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly send your application with a detailed CV with the subject line \u201cManager, Land Development Resettlement\u201d to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>hr@kpmg.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing Date:<\/strong>\u00a018 November, 2022<\/p>\n<p>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Role Summary \u2022 The incumbent will be responsible for providing full land survey and valuation services to the organisation\u2019s whiles managing the service delivery of the Valuation Team.
