{"id":76663,"date":"2022-11-16T10:40:05","date_gmt":"2022-11-16T10:40:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=76663"},"modified":"2022-11-16T10:40:05","modified_gmt":"2022-11-16T10:40:05","slug":"kpmg-ghana-recruitment-2022-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/kpmg-ghana-recruitment-2022-2.html","title":{"rendered":"KPMG Ghana Recruitment 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The role holder will provide legal advice to management and the Board and lead all legal representation, opinions and reviews on laws and legislation for the organisation and ensure governance procedures and processes are adhered to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Director, Legal <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Provide advise on all legal matters (including operations, contract negotiations, negotiation and signing of implementation agreements, land lease agreement.) to ensure that there are no infringements of the laws, rules and regulations in the execution of duties<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop Legal strategy, policies, procedures and other support systems including monitoring mechanisms in managing the legal affairs \/ matters of the organisation as and when they arise<br \/>\n\u2022 Participate in the development of business strategy\/plans<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare legal opinion on matters relating to the operations of the organisation and advise accordingly<br \/>\n\u2022 Represent the organisation and its employees on both Civil and Criminal matters to ensure the protection of the corporate interest at all times<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise the legal team and activities to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the handling of internal legal affairs \/ matters of the organisation<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the Legal department and control budget allocations to optimise cost<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare and submit periodic programme and progress reports on the specified entities activities for approval<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare and submit periodic programme and progress reports on the specified entities activities for approval<br \/>\n\u2022 Set targets with team members, appraise their performance and make appropriate recommendations<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform any other duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Competency Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to act with integrity at all times and maintain confidentiality of information<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to provide leadership and direction on regulatory and ethical business conduct<br \/>\n\u2022 Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp;
