Job Title: Procurement & Logistics Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Reports to Procurement and Logistics Officer
\n\u2022 No line management responsibility<\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Responsible for working under the direction of the Procurement and Logistics Officer to ensure the operation of T-TEL\u2019s procurement, purchasing, logistics and transport activities are conducted in adherence with T-TEL policies.<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

PROCUREMENT AND PURCHASING<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 Order of supplies and services for programme activities.
\n\u2022 Manage office inventory and office supplies, including records management, supply replenishments and assets procured for the programme.
\n\u2022 Maintain an up-to-date asset register for all assets procured by the programme.
\n\u2022 Undertake periodic physical verification of programme assets.
\n\u2022 Work under the guidance of the Procurement and Logistics Officer to select appropriate procurement mechanisms to contract service providers for the implementation of programme related activities.
\n\u2022 Ensure all procurement and purchasing activities are conducted in adherence with T-TEL policies and in compliance with donor funding rules.<\/p>\n

TRAVEL AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 Arrange travel bookings for team members either locally or internationally.
\n\u2022 Liaise with Procurement and Logistics Officer for the booking of official vehicles or hiring of vehicles for programme-related activities.
\n\u2022 Provide logistical support for workshops, meetings, and other programme-related activities.<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Candidate Specification<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 HND or Diploma level qualification required (bachelor\u2019s degree preferred)
\n\u2022 4+ years experience working in an office setting
\n\u2022 Written and verbal communication skills in English
\n\u2022 Ability to multitask and prioritize.
\n\u2022 Ability to complete administrative tasks with minimal supervision
\n\u2022 Good communication and relationship-building skills
\n\u2022 Reliable and a team player
\n\u2022 Demonstrable ability to deliver to deadlines
\n\u2022 Pro-active in raising issues with management and resolving identified problems.<\/p>\n
