The incumbent is responsible for developing, managing and optimizing a network of fuel storage tanks, pipelines and other bulk transportation infrastructure at the organisation. The role holder also carries overall responsibility and accountability for the safety, operational and commercial performance of fuel storage tanks, pipelines and other bulk transportation infrastructure at the organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Implement and manage approved strategy for the unit and report to the Head, Operations Projects<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide advice on financing options for major projects to the CEO and the Board of Directors<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide appropriate level of oversight to financial modelling, finance structuring, accounting and compliance for projects.<br \/>\n\u2022 Responsible for creating fiscal models to assist asset valuations<br \/>\n\u2022 With the relevant subordinate units, develop and supervise implementation of procedures for infrastructure planning, design, construction, operations &amp; maintenance; including commercial and billing activities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Accountable for management and delivery of the terminals management department budget.<br \/>\n\u2022 Overall responsibility for ensuring safe, reliable and efficient asset operations<br \/>\n\u2022 Responsible for compliance with legislative requirements and maintaining contractual, financial and accounting discipline of subordinate units<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise the delivery of responsibilities of each subordinate unit of the Terminal Management department<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform routine activities related to the delivery of responsibilities of subordinate departments and the technical and organisational management of the department<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop and prepare contracting plans and strategies for solicitation, evaluation and awarding of contract for detailed engineering, procurement and construction (EFC)<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee the execution of capital projects including Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) in line with the scope, schedule and budget.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage contractor preparation of detailed design drawings, material specifications and procurement, and\/or construction bid packages<br \/>\n\u2022 Measure and improve overall asset integrity through development and delivery of Maintenance Excellence<br \/>\n\u2022 Agree and approve annual plan for maintenance projects<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure asset maintenance work programmes are enacted safely and efficiently and aligned to operational plans<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Competency Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Outstanding leadership in an executive management position.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong commercial acumen<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of OHSEE rules and regulations<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience supervising technical projects and managing terminals<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience supervising both technical and non technical staff.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience of resource management on large and complex delivery programmes<br \/>\n\u2022 Experienced working to tight deadlines<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience working across multiple cultures preferred<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering.<br \/>\n\u2022 Master\u2019s Degree in Engineering or MBA<br \/>\n\u2022 Project Management Certification preferred<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A minimum of ten (10) years working experience in the utility industry, preferably in oil\/gas storage and transmission, and\/or in asset management<br \/>\n\u2022 5years management experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Accra<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply For The Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly send your application with a detailed CV with the subject line \u201cHead, Storage Tanks,Logistics Utilities\u201d to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>hr@kpmg.com.gh<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description Job Title: Head, Storage Tanks, Logistics Utilities Role Summary \u2022 The role holder has responsibilities for all petroleum infrastructure business development at the organisation.
