Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Director of Finance<\/strong><\/p>\n GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA<\/strong><\/p>\n Management appointment is a fixed-term engagement for a limited period of four (4) years subject to renewal based on agreed performance standards. \n\u2022 The successful candidate will also be required to mobilize and disburse financial resources and provide or generate reports for management control and facilitate the implementation of efficient financial management systems.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Prepares financial and management reports for operations Assists Sub-BMCs with their financial management responsibilities
\n\u2022 Prepares financial and other statements of accounts for Internal and external purposes Maintains financial information for management use for control purposes
\n\u2022 Advises and supports management in meeting its regulatory obligations in financial accountability
\n\u2022 Leads in the development and implementation of accounting systems with respect of
\n\u2022 Advises on information systems to meet the financial requirements of the Hospital
\n\u2022 Assists in the planning and monitoring of the Hospital\u2019s performance
\n\u2022 Leads in the preparation and execution of the budget
\n\u2022 Assists in the recruitment and management of Human Resources for the Finance Directorate.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Evidence of leadership and continuing professional development and training
\n\u2022 Have advanced skills in computer usage and hands-on experience in financial management applications
\n\u2022 Ability to establish networks within and outside the hospital and utilize this to achieve the hospital\u2019s objectives and goals
\n\u2022 Have experience in multi-agency networking, project and budget management
\n\u2022 Have a broad knowledge base and experience of the legal framework underpinning finance management of the Government of Ghana (GOG), Ministry of Finance (MOF), and other agencies
\n\u2022 Experience in Project financing, planning, appraisal, etc.<\/p>\n
