{"id":77214,"date":"2022-11-25T06:33:07","date_gmt":"2022-11-25T06:33:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=77214"},"modified":"2022-11-25T06:33:07","modified_gmt":"2022-11-25T06:33:07","slug":"gaming-commission-of-ghana-jobs-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/gaming-commission-of-ghana-jobs-2022.html","title":{"rendered":"Gaming Commission of Ghana Jobs 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Principal Legal Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide technical and operational support in the management of legal matters for the achievement of the mandate of the Commission.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Provide input in the formulation of policies of the Commission<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure effective and efficient management of resources in the unit of<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide legal advice on matters relating to the operations the Commission<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaise with the Attorney-General\u2019s department and other stakeholders for the preparation and review of legal documentation relating to the mandate of the Commission<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee the development and maintenance of a comprehensive database on the legal activities of the Commission<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide dispute and alternative dispute resolution services for the Commission<br \/>\n\u2022 Represent the Commission on matters that may be brought before the court of law<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide input for the preparation and review of legal documents relating to the Commission\u2019s mandate<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise the collation of data for the preparation of the budget and annual work plan of the unit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise the collation of data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the unit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure the implementation of performance management policy in the unit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise and appraise the performance of subordinate staff in the unit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A minimum of a Master\u2019s degree in Law (LLM) from an accredited tertiary institution.\u2022 Must have been called to the Ghana Bar (Barrister-at-law)<br \/>\n\u2022 A minimum of six (6) years post-call relevant work experience in a reputable organization.<br \/>\n\u2022 Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the Gaming Commission in collaboration with the public services commission.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Good leadership, networking, monitoring, and management skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Very good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Very good negotiation, diplomacy, and lobbying skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Very good knowledge and experience in the Gaming industry.
