Job Title: Director, Human Capital & General Services<\/strong><\/p>\n

Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 The job holder is responsible for leading the human resource, IT, and general services functions of the organization, ensuring the formulation and implementation of best practice policies, procedures, and programs and promoting operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide guidance and counsel on matters relating to the HR, IT, and administration services function and ensure the development of strategies that are aligned with the business needs and strategic direction of the organization.
\n\u2022 Develop a strategic human capital plan for talent acquisition, development, utilization, motivation, and retention that is aligned with the organization\u2019s corporate strategy and objectives
\n\u2022 Champion the formulation and effective implementation of recruitment strategies and plans to identify, select, hire and retain the best talent to meet the organization\u2019s manpower needs and ensure optimal staffing levels at all times
\n\u2022 Establish a human resource policy and procedures manual and ensure this is duly implemented and regularly reviewed\u2022 Demonstrate ownership of and communicate the HR department\u2019s strategic direction and objectives to all staff ensuring mutual understanding of roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities
\n\u2022 Ensure the formulation and implementation of an effective performance management system that is objective, equitable, transparent, and merit-driven
\n\u2022 Ensure the design and implementation of need-based, cost-effective learning and development strategies to support the organization\u2019s business goals and improve performance
\n\u2022 Oversee the development, implementation, and administration of remuneration and reward policies and practices that balance employee satisfaction\/ well-being with the organization\u2019s resources
\n\u2022 Develop, lead, and manage the organization\u2019s Industrial Relations policies and practices to enable employee engagement, productivity, and legal compliance. In accordance with this, keep abreast with labor laws, and employment regulations, and adapt policies to ensure compliance
\n\u2022 Continuously seek to identify, and improve existing processes to improve the management and accessibility of key analytical data and use people analytics to present HR key metrics that support business decision making
\n\u2022 Oversee the establishment and management of General Services and Innovation & Technology functions that ensure smooth daily operations across the organization<\/p>\n

Skills & Competency Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Knowledge of principles, practices, and standards of administration
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the local labor laws and regulations
\n\u2022 Ability to evaluate multiple stakeholder requirements and work with them to prioritize the delivery of those requirements
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the local labor laws and regulations, HR systems, policies, and processes
\n\u2022 Excellent project management and process development experience,
\n\u2022 Ability to lead, motivate and drive employee engagement
\n\u2022 Strong relationship management skills
\n\u2022 Strong leadership skills, ability to balance multiple perspectives and convey relevant messages.
\n\u2022 Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and ethical skills<\/p>\n

Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum of 12 years in HR Generalist, or HR Consulting role, of which at least 5 must have been at a senior managerial level<\/p>\n

Educational Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 A minimum of a Master\u2019s degree in Human Resource Management, Social Science, or a related field
\n\u2022 Membership of a relevant professional body (CIPD, SHRM, IHRMP, and other relevant professional qualifications)<\/p>\n
