{"id":77387,"date":"2022-11-28T12:41:03","date_gmt":"2022-11-28T12:41:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=77387"},"modified":"2022-11-28T12:41:03","modified_gmt":"2022-11-28T12:41:03","slug":"gbfoods-africa-jobs-2022-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/gbfoods-africa-jobs-2022-4.html","title":{"rendered":"GBfoods Africa Jobs 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u201cEnjoying together around good food\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0defines the essence of GBfoods, the group that brings together the multi-local reality and the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that has accompanied the various companies and local brands that shape it since its creation\u00a0<strong>80 years ago.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, with a turnover of around\u00a0<strong>1 billion euros<\/strong>\u00a0and a team of\u00a0<strong>2400 employees<\/strong>, GBfoods is present in Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, CIS Republics, in 30 countries in Africa, and the Middle East through prestigious brands as <strong>Gallina Blanca, Star, Jumbo, Grand\u2019Italia and Gino.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Mechanical Technician<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position will support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing all facilities and manufacturing equipment including but not limited to construction, painting, plumbing, welding, heating\/cooling, automation, and fire protection systems in a safe and orderly fashion.<\/p>\n<p>This position creates value for the facility by performing preventive and corrective maintenance leading to increased uptime and reliability, thus helping the facility meet their production and quality goals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results \/ Accountabilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and simple electrical problems on plant facilities and production equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Recognizes and corrects potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and communicates this to the Maintenance Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Performs welding and fabrication (both stick and gas) in various locations and positions including pipe and structural on various metals for new and existing equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for proper care\/cleaning of tools, parts, materials, and work area<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for providing coverage in the absence of other Maintenance Technicians.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What can you expect from us?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Working for GBfood will offer you a wide variety of career opportunities that will enable you to utilize your full potential.
