RESPONSIBLE TO: Sales and Marketing Manager<\/p>\n

Job Objective<\/p>\n

Present and sell assigned company products (FMCGs) so as to maintain and develop sales within territory. Manage quality and consistency of product delivery.<\/p>\n

Responsible for sales activities within territory from lead generation through close. Expand customer base in the area of responsibility. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, increase in sales, and long-term goals in line with the company vision and values.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/p>\n

1) Area<\/p>\n

\u2022 Responsible for the sales and presentation of company products (within an assigned sales territory\/product range)<\/p>\n

2) Sales growth<\/p>\n

\u2022 Prospection to identify new clients
\n\u2022 Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.
\n\u2022 Develops and maintains new accounts
\n\u2022 Follow up on leads and referrals
\n\u2022 Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities<\/p>\n

3) Customer satisfaction<\/p>\n

\u2022 Makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their needs
\n\u2022 Maintain good relationship with customers and customers’ staff
\n\u2022 Identify and inform management of client concerns
\n\u2022 Deal with complaints from customers<\/p>\n

4) Sales and marketing skills<\/p>\n

\u2022 Demonstrates technical selling skills and acquires quick product knowledge
\n\u2022 Demonstrates the ability to successfully carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
\n\u2022 Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
\n\u2022 Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
\n\u2022 Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.<\/p>\n

5) Market Intelligence<\/p>\n

\u2022 Receiving and collecting market intelligence on a regular basis on customers’ requirements and competitor developments<\/p>\n

7) Marketing<\/p>\n

\u2022 Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
\n\u2022 Seeking out promotional opportunities<\/p>\n

8) Relationships<\/p>\n

\u2022 Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction.
\n\u2022 Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
\n\u2022 Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
\n\u2022 Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
\n\u2022 Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.<\/p>\n

9) Others<\/p>\n

\u2022 Adheres to all company policies, procedures
\n\u2022 Maintain all required paperwork in organised and neat fashion
\n\u2022 Comply with Finance and Administration requirements
\n\u2022 Prepare any required sales reports
\n\u2022 Any other duties of a related nature which might reasonably be required and allocated by the company
\n\u2022 Efficient feedback to management
\n\u2022 Follow-up for collection of payment.<\/p>\n

Job requirements<\/p>\n

\u2022 At least 2 years of experience in sales in sales
\n\u2022 Experience with FMCG distribution
\n\u2022 Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
\n\u2022 Strong understanding of customer requirements.
\n\u2022 Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills in English<\/p>\n
