{"id":78001,"date":"2022-12-06T06:23:21","date_gmt":"2022-12-06T06:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=78001"},"modified":"2022-12-06T06:23:21","modified_gmt":"2022-12-06T06:23:21","slug":"standard-chartered-bank-recruitment-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/standard-chartered-bank-recruitment-2022.html","title":{"rendered":"Standard Chartered Bank Recruitment 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Balance Sheet Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs routine balance sheet reporting tasks such as A\/D ratios.<\/li>\n<li>Applies policies to given situations and knows where to seek advice when faced with an ambiguous issue requiring interpretation<\/li>\n<li>Monitors management action triggers and escalates action items at country level<\/li>\n<li>Provides insightful commentary on reporting packs and specialized schedules including business variance analysis linking current performance with future projections, risks, and opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Recognized as a credible source of data and query management for business stakeholders and the monitoring key balance sheet ratios<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to discussions with Group Market Risk and ALM functions on transfer pricing for new products, stress testing assumptions, sources of funding for balance sheet, and inputs for LMC\/CMC\/ALCO papers<\/li>\n<li>Devises forward-looking balance sheet metrics-to support additional limits\/capital injections<\/li>\n<li>Scans the wider external environment to anticipate, influence, and contribute to the formation and subsequent interpretation of rules and regulations through the engaging of other professional industry subject matter experts both within and outside the Bank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Capital\/Liquidity\/ALCO processes<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>COFF\/COL computation<\/li>\n<li>Core and non-core computation<\/li>\n<li>PSFTP<\/li>\n<li>Act as secretary to Local ALCO<\/li>\n<li>Ensure ALCO objectives are carried out and measured by responsible parties<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the effective management of the business\u2019s capital and balance sheet structures including funding, liquidity, currency and market risks etc;<\/li>\n<li>Back Testing<\/li>\n<li>Commitments monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Shareholders\u2019 fund management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Management of Subsidiary Board Papers and External Agencies Board Papers<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Socio-Economic impact study<\/li>\n<li>Quarterly Board Papers<\/li>\n<li>Undertake bank-wide competitor analysis with selected banks on a quarterly basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Deliver the following reports within set deadlines \u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forecast Balance sheet<\/li>\n<li>Capital plan and Single Borrower Limit (SBL) Projection<\/li>\n<li>Carry out a monthly analytical review of the Balance sheet highlighting the key drivers of performances in terms of businesses and products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Strategy Budgeting &amp; Forecasting<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide inputs into business strategies<\/li>\n<li>Prepare\/Review Cost Budgeting<\/li>\n<li>Highlight opportunities and risks for management action<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Investment Spend Decision Making<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide financial analysis and support for all investment spend<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate controls are in place on all projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operational Risk \u2013 Finance<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as the responsible officer for EOPS balance sheet management function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Regulatory &amp; Business Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\u2019s Values and Code of Conduct.<\/li>\n<li>Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
