{"id":78002,"date":"2022-12-06T06:19:53","date_gmt":"2022-12-06T06:19:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=78002"},"modified":"2022-12-06T06:19:53","modified_gmt":"2022-12-06T06:19:53","slug":"standard-chartered-bank-vacancies-2022-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/standard-chartered-bank-vacancies-2022-4.html","title":{"rendered":"Standard Chartered Bank Vacancies 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title: Network Operation Center Engineer, SOLV Ghana<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Role Responsibilities\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The production Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Technology Lead\/ Chief Technology Officer in the building of a full technology stack, management of the production\/test environment(s), management of the technology operations (DevOps, Change Management) and manage vendor\/fintech engagements for multi-market multi-anchor SaaS SOLV Ghana platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Technology Lead\/ Chief Technology Officer in driving the technical vision, strategy, and direction of SOLV Ghana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the Technology Lead\/ Chief Technology Officer, and partners on the technology build, vendor engineering engagements, etc to help deliver features and capabilities aligned to the business model of SOLV Ghana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Processes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor the stability of SOLV Ghana\u2019s infrastructure with various tools.<\/li>\n<li>Handle incident response, troubleshooting, and fixing for various servers\/services. Handle escalations as per policies\/procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Get different internal groups together to resolve production issues effectively. Communicate clearly on tickets, phone calls made to the teams about various issues. Exhibit a sense of urgency to resolve issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure SLAs and Operational standards are met.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with different internal groups to resolve recurrent problems, alerts, and follow-up on escalated issues.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to operations runbook.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure smooth handoffs between shifts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>People &amp; Talent<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the development of an appropriate culture that upholds the values of SOLV Ghana. Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory, and policy-compliant conduct is the norm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to anticipate horizon risks that may have a significant impact on the Ventures Technology and help develop effective strategies to mitigate such risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend relevant meetings and provide relevant reports to Senior Management and Governance\/ Risk committees for the area of responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Regulatory &amp; Business Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\u2019s Values and Code of Conduct.<\/li>\n<li>Support the achievement within SOLV Ghana, the outcomes set out in the Bank\u2019s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key stakeholders<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Global Technology Team<\/li>\n<li>Other Tech Heads<\/li>\n<li>3rd party Vendors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exemplify Here for good and Group\u2019s brand and values in SOLV Ghana; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business, or Functional policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Our Ideal Candidate<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a First Degree is required.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of experience in NOC support is required.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure to restore services.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage incidents independently as well as work collaboratively with local, regional, and global teams.<\/li>\n<li>Confidence to push back and say No when expectations are not aligned with the correct\/agreed\/sold solution.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to flick between break\/fix, and proactive task projects.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of ITSM, and JIRA.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of cloud technologies IT Infra, like- AWS, Azure<\/li>\n<li>Ability to monitor in windows such as CPU, RAM, disk space, and additional IIS webserver. Making documentation for SOP and working on SOP for different areas. Ensure that all system uptime is at 100% percent. Monitoring different monitoring tools at the same time.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and a desire to learn new concepts and technologies and apply them.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attitude to take ownership and responsibility for the production servers\/services. Linux: Good knowledge of Linux systems<\/li>\n<li>AWS: Good knowledge of AWS services EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, and IAM.
