{"id":797,"date":"2010-09-10T04:17:48","date_gmt":"2010-09-10T04:17:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=797"},"modified":"2010-09-10T04:19:59","modified_gmt":"2010-09-10T04:19:59","slug":"datalink-institute-ghana-jobs-accountants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/datalink-institute-ghana-jobs-accountants.html","title":{"rendered":"Datalink Institute Ghana Jobs: Accountants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recording of financial transactions and results of operations in accordance with relevant international accounting standards (IAS) and internal needs of the university<br \/>\nPrepare periodic statutory returns and ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations<br \/>\nAssist in costing all services of the university and account for and appraise projects<!--more--> Prepare year-end financial reporting procedures and the preparation of final accounts for and liaise with internal and external auditors<br \/>\nSupervise the preparation of payroll<br \/>\nSupervise accounting office staff<br \/>\nTerms: The terms and conditions for the position include a competitive remuneration package<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification\/Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A degree in Accounting from a recognized university plus a minimu of the equivalent of level III of Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) or similar a institution like ACCA, CIMA, CPA<br \/>\nMinimum of three (3) years relevant working experience<br \/>\nAt least one year would cover managerial experience, ideally in a public accountancy firm, a private\/public sector institution or business enterprise of size similar to Data Link University College<br \/>\nExperience with financial information systems and awareness of developments in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidate who qualify should send a letter of application together with full curriculum vitae plus names and addresses of three referees.
