{"id":8014,"date":"2012-06-04T06:45:12","date_gmt":"2012-06-04T06:45:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=8014"},"modified":"2016-11-14T10:48:26","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T10:48:26","slug":"adexen-recruitment-agency-legal-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/adexen-recruitment-agency-legal-officer.html","title":{"rendered":"Adexen Recruitment Agency: Legal Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Adexen Recruitment Agency<\/strong> is mandated by a multinational FMCG Group to recruit a Legal Officer to support its operations in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Legal Officer will:<br \/>\n\u2022 Support the General Counsel in the delivery of pro-active legal services to the business.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist in reduction of turn-around time for delivery of legal services in view of increasing Legal tasks and customers within the Business.<br \/>\n\u2022 To reduce the use of External Solicitors for non-litigation matters with resultant reduction in legal costs to the Company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><br \/>\nThe responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:<br \/>\n\u2022 Provision of legal research support required for legal advisory services. The Legal Officer will specifically be responsible for sourcing for current laws, regulations, rules and legal materials\/information likely to impact on the business.<br \/>\n\u2022 Collation of information and documents to aid the Litigation process and arrangements for Company witnesses and pre-trial briefings. The Legal Officer will also make representation at Court sessions and provide report of same.<br \/>\n\u2022 Carrying out periodic Agreement audit within the various Departments\/Functions to ensure that Company contractual arrangements are supported by subsisting Agreements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Send out prompters for Agreement renewals and arrange for the proper and timely execution of Agreements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist in Drafting and review of legal documents for the Company.<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaising with Functional and Category Teams, External Counsel, Government press, Court Registrars and government agencies<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage central payment of the various business rates.<br \/>\n\u2022 Administer various Schedules of Litigation cases, Leased and Company Owned Properties, Agreements and Company Trademarks.<br \/>\n\u2022 Update and maintain legal files and documentation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A Bachelor of first Degree in Law<br \/>\n\u2022 Master\u2019s Degree (added advantage)<br \/>\n\u2022 At least 3 years relevant post-call experience.<br \/>\n\u2022 Must have good knowledge and experience in commercial law &amp; practice.<br \/>\n\u2022 Good communication skills (oral and written)<br \/>\n\u2022 Good Analytical skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Commitment to Team results<\/p>\n<p>Kindly send us your Word CV at <strong>ADEXEN-185604@adexen.eu<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a multinational FMCG Group to recruit a Legal Officer to support its operations in Ghana.
