Position: Junior expert \/ Public Finance<\/p>\n
Objectives: The specific objectives of the assignment is to
\n\u2022 identify Non-Tax Revenue potentials in Ghana (both existing and new sources);
\n\u2022 identify factors militating the ability of MDAs to exploit their potential to generate revenue
\n\u2022 draft a national policy on Non-Tax Revenue;
\n\u2022 streamline procedures and business process in Non-Tax Revenue mobilization;
\n\u2022 improve transparency and management of Government of Ghana equity investments in SOEs\/JVCs;
\n\u2022 improve guidelines\/policy on dividend payment to Government<\/p>\n
Experts profile:
\n\u2022 3 year previous work experience in Public Sector Financial Management;
\n\u2022 1 year previous experience in carrying out either review of or assistance to Government entities involved in receiving and managing revenues (e.g. fees, charges or taxes);
\n\u2022 A Master degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a relevant experience of at least 5 years is required;
\n\u2022 The working language of the present assignment will be English. Excellent written and oral skills are required;
\n\u2022 Previous experience in ACP countries or participation in similar assignments is an advantage.<\/p>\n
