Job Title: Trade Marketing Representative<\/strong><\/p>\n

Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 The successful candidate will join our team as a Regional Trade Marketer in the Sales and Distribution Department.
\n\u2022 (S)He will report to the Head of Brand Operations and ensure strategic alignment as a result of executing the Trade Marketing Strategy to contribute to accomplishing the organization\u2019s strategic objectives. The
\n\u2022 successful candidate will also adapt the portfolio management framework to the organization\u2019s needs, including its alignment with organizational processes and systems. The Regional Trade Marketer will as well oversee the visibility of Trade Marketing functions at the regional level.<\/p>\n

Core Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Lead in ensuring effective management of point-of-sale materials in all relevant channels at the zonal level with trade audits.
\n\u2022 Responsible in driving company visibility strategy in relevant channels at the regional level
\n\u2022 Team player in coming up with planograms for the relevant channels nationwide
\n\u2022 Analyze retail reports and come up with tactical micro-market activations to bridge gap.
\n\u2022 Ensure activation readiness and execution details at the regional level.
\n\u2022 Responsible for post-activation and event performance, outlining key learnings and impact on business KPIs
\n\u2022 Responsible for effective promotion communication, management, reconciliation, and premiums at the zonal level.
\n\u2022 Provide leadership in conducting analyzing retail audit reports and supervising the execution of action plans at the zonal level.
\n\u2022 Ensure constant Point of sale material available for the trade and consistent merchandising of company products at retail.
\n\u2022 Lead in bringing the brand to live at events and sponsorships
\n\u2022 Collaborate with sales teams to turn the \u201cselling stories\u201d into sales tools to effectively present the brands, the products, and the marketing initiatives to their customers.
\n\u2022 Lead in coming up with projects to bring a turnaround to Key Performing Indicators at the Regional level.<\/p>\n

Trade Marketing ideation and planning management<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide insight from the zonal level in the planning process by analyzing available reports to make recommendations in line with company plans
\n\u2022 Develop an itinerary in alignment with zonal plans to help in the execution of sales projects
\n\u2022 Liaise with zonal teams to ensure on-time and in-full deployment of trade materials by offering direction and enforcing compliance.
\nPlanogram concept as sales tools
\n\u2022 Provide insight from the regional level to help in developing a retail execution blueprint in line with the group plan for relevant channels.
\n\u2022 Champion feasibility test to ensure flawless implementation at the zonal level
\n\u2022 Implement by aligning sales teams through training at the regional level
\n\u2022 Implement and undertake monthly audits to enforce compliance in assigned zone.<\/p>\n

Activation planning and promotion execution<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Support in planning activations by advising mechanics and execution process with insights from the regional level
\n\u2022 Coordinate and brief stakeholders to ensure on-time execution success
\n\u2022 Participate and undertake dipstick to check top-of-mind awareness of the promotion
\n\u2022 Undertake qualitative promo optimization sell-out (OPSO) for the zone.<\/p>\n

Point of Sale material management<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Undertake territorial visits to ensure the usage of trade materials.
\n\u2022 Weekly audits to ensure the right usage of materials within allocated channels
\n\u2022 Innovate by proposing new ideas that will bring freshness and better solutions to all routes to market partners (freelancers and distributors) and retail channels (tabletops, neighborhood shops, AirtelTigo Money shops and kiosks, own shops, and franchise outlets).<\/p>\n

Candidate Requirement<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Excellent organizational, communication, selling, listening, and interpersonal skills
\n\u2022 Willing to live anywhere in the country
\n\u2022 Must possess a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in the Telco Industry or FMCG in a related field.
\n\u2022 Minimum (3 to 5) years experience in telecom sales or FMCG sales is considered.
\n\u2022 Multi-national exposure is an added advantage
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree or HND in Marketing or Arts related course
\n\u2022 MBA in marketing is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
