Universities in North Carolina founded RTI in 1956 as the first scientific organization in and centerpiece of the Research Triangle Park.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for\u00a0<strong>Senior Advisor, Early Grade Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>RTI IS RECRUITING CANDIDATES FOR AN EARLY GRADE LEARNING PROGRAMME IN GHANA<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Senior\u00a0Advisor, Early Grade Learning\u00a0<\/strong>will provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of a primary grades reading and mathematics education programme.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working collaboratively with the government, academic institutions and other technical experts, she\/he will be responsible for the development of instructional materials and teacher training programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree in education (Ph.D preferred), with a focus on curriculum and instruction, early grade reading\/literacy, teacher training, and\/or bilingual education<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working in the field of literacy or reading instruction, teacher training or bilingual education<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies in the design and implementation of programmes to support literacy and numeracy.<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience managing other technical experts and staff in a development project context<\/li>\n<li>All positions require fluency in English; prior experience working on a USAID project is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your CV and Cover letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ghanaeducation@rti.org\">ghanaeducation@rti.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please indicate which position you are applying for in the subject line.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RTI (www.rti.com)\u00a0is an independent organization dedicated to conducting innovative, multidisciplinary research that improves the human condition.
