Universities in North Carolina founded RTI in 1956 as the first scientific organization in and centerpiece of the Research Triangle Park.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>RTI IS RECRUITING CANDIDATES FOR AN EARLY GRADE LEARNING PROGRAMME IN GHANA<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Manager, Field Operations<\/strong>\u00a0will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of programme implementation at the regional and district level.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>She\/he will ensure that programme activities are well-organised and that programme resources are used in a manner that contributes to the achievement of programme goals<\/li>\n<li>She\/he will work collaboratively with the technical advisors to ensure that operational management is carried out in a way that achieves technical programmes goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree in education, management, administration, planning or other related field<\/li>\n<li>Seven years experience managing staff, budgets and logistics to coordinate a large-scale programme, preferably in the education sector<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience working with regional and district education systems in\u00a0Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies in the design and implementation of education programmes<\/li>\n<li>All positions require fluency in English; prior experience working on a USAID project is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your CV and Cover letter to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:ghanaeducation@rti.org\">ghanaeducation@rti.org<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please indicate which position you are applying for in the subject line.<\/p>\n<p>Offer valid till:\u00a009 Jul, 2012<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RTI (www.rti.com)\u00a0is an independent organization dedicated to conducting innovative, multidisciplinary research that improves the human condition.
