{"id":83233,"date":"2023-02-28T15:26:12","date_gmt":"2023-02-28T15:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=83233"},"modified":"2023-02-28T15:26:12","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T15:26:12","slug":"airteltigo-recruitment-2023-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/airteltigo-recruitment-2023-4.html","title":{"rendered":"AirtelTigo Recruitment 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head General Accounting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Work closely with the Credit Control function to ensure that receivable balances are maintained within acceptable Limits.<br \/>\n\u2022 Responsible for the recognition of doubtful debts provisions at each month end. \u00e2?\u00a2 Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Produce accurate and timely reports as requested and scheduled which provides clear visibility into the performance of various receivable streams.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain fully reconciled roaming and interconnect receivable balances with the roaming &amp; interconnect clearing houses.<br \/>\n\u2022 Generate and review various GL reports including cash collection reports, aging reports, advances not yet utilized, and employee balance reconciliations and provide the same to higher management with explanations for variances.<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform sub ledger reconciliations with general ledger and minimize unreconciled balances to the level of zero.<br \/>\n\u2022 Champion the implementation of all business controls specific to the enterprise business.<br \/>\n\u2022 Support the working capital management of the business by providing clear timely reports into on receivable trends.<br \/>\n\u2022 Work closely with IT, Revenue Assurance and Revenue Reporting Team to ensure accurate booking of cost and revenue in respect of interconnect, roaming and Fixed services for month-end financial reporting.<br \/>\n\u2022 Closely engage with Revenue Assurance and Interconnect Partners to ensure proper dispute management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide early warning signs for finance by generating weekly reports clearly highlighting bad debt exposure.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure daily bank reconciliations and resolution of all open issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Bachelors\u2019 Degree in Economics or a Business-related field.<br \/>\n\u2022 ACCA, CIMA or ICAG (Final Level).<br \/>\n\u2022 4-6 years\u2019 work experience in a similar role.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>CORE COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to work independently and within a team.<br \/>\n\u2022 Detailed understanding of billing systems from a financial perspective.<br \/>\n\u2022 Organized and detail oriented.<br \/>\n\u2022 Detailed knowledge in IFRS especially in the areas of revenue and financial instruments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Expert Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products.<br \/>\n\u2022 Takes ownership, responsibility, and accountability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Accra<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified applicants should send their Applications &amp; Curriculum Vitae to:\u00a0<strong>Recruitment@airteltigo.com.gh<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly indicate the role you are applying for in the email subject.<\/p>\n<p>Ready to be part of our dynamic and innovative team?
