{"id":83246,"date":"2023-02-28T15:51:47","date_gmt":"2023-02-28T15:51:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=83246"},"modified":"2023-02-28T15:51:47","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T15:51:47","slug":"mtn-globalconnect-jobs-2023-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/mtn-globalconnect-jobs-2023-3.html","title":{"rendered":"MTN GlobalConnect Jobs 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This role is OPCo-based not Dubai\/South Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Specialist \u2013 Roaming<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas: <\/strong>Core, essential responsibilities\/outputs of the position (KPA\u2019s)<\/p>\n<p>The position will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Roaming Service Excellence<\/li>\n<li>Ensure seamless operation of the implemented RVAS for the Roaming Hu<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Supplier managed services to deliver and expand the RVAS<\/li>\n<li>SPOC for All RVAS in the Roaming Hub and Roaming Operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role Deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure the proper functioning of all RVAS implemented at MTN Opcos<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for monitoring and reporting of all RVAS, to include coordination with vendor managed services and Client Operators on all aspects related to RVAS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role Dependencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Client Operator Marketing and Technical teams<\/li>\n<li>GlobalConnect Market Managers<\/li>\n<li>GlobalConnect technology &amp; operations teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements\u00a0<\/strong>(Education, Experience and Competencies)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business or Telecommunications<\/li>\n<li>English: verbal and written proficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 or more years\u2019 experience in an MNO roaming operations<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Broad-based knowledge of the mobile telecoms industry within GSMA roaming.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing, implementing, and supporting multiple service launches<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SS7, GPRS, IPX tracing.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with technical troubleshooting of International Roaming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of RVAS solutions and implementations.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to coordinate multiple projects and issues simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate skills with MS Office; i.e. Word, Excel, PPT, and SharePoint<\/li>\n<li>Technical and commercial knowledge of international Roaming environment<\/li>\n<li>Able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of business practices<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of risk management (a risk taker who carefully considers risk\/reward) and business development<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify key issues in a situation and to think creatively and strategically in facing internal and external challenges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to adapt to changing requirements of business and staff members<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role is OPCo-based not Dubai\/South Africa.
