{"id":83371,"date":"2023-03-02T11:44:03","date_gmt":"2023-03-02T11:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=83371"},"modified":"2023-03-02T11:44:03","modified_gmt":"2023-03-02T11:44:03","slug":"matrix-innovation-limited-jobs-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/matrix-innovation-limited-jobs-2023.html","title":{"rendered":"Matrix Innovation Limited Jobs 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Farm Supervisor <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Inspect crop and field to determine maturity, yield, work requirements, such as cultivating, weeding, or harvesting;<br \/>\n\u2022 Direct and assist in the repair and proper working of machines and equipment used in the farms;<br \/>\n\u2022 Help and supervise general farm worker\u2019s day-to-day activities;<br \/>\n\u2022 Assess, suggest, and help in the implementation of work procedures that are beneficial for the business;<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee sorting &amp; overall handling of produce to ensure the highest possible quality of products;<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure all health and safety procedures are being followed by all workers at all times;<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise and co-ordinate work of other farm workers and laborers and oversee activities like crop maintenance &amp; harvesting;<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform other duties as instructed by the management;<br \/>\n\u2022 Make work schedules and establish procedures, train employees on work site;<br \/>\n\u2022 Evaluate weather and soil conditions;<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise and oversee growing crop-related operations;<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that the safety procedures are followed by all farm workers and by everyone attending the Farm worksite;<br \/>\n\u2022 Plans and supervises the planting, cultivating, harvesting and storing of field and garden crops on large and complex institutional farms;<br \/>\n\u2022 Create work schedules;<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare schedule and establish safety procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Diploma,HND in Agricultural engineering or Agriculture related field<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work long hours, early mornings and weekends if required;<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to communicate in English;<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 1-year experience as a farm supervisor or training in agriculture is required;<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions.
