Regulatory Affairs is a technical function in R&amp;D.<\/p>\n<p>You will be responsible for connecting &amp; translating the science of our product to achieve the most impactful claims\/ innovation support for business growth in line with business strategies and possess the ability to connect widely across functions, both internally &amp; externally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A background in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Foods Technology is preferred with at least 5-7 years\u2019 experience within R&amp;D.<\/li>\n<li>A demonstrated expertise and track record in Regulatory Affairs with a focus on Advocacy and Innovation guidance<\/li>\n<li>Existing relationships with regulators, industry bodies and involvement in technical regulatory committees<\/li>\n<li>Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li>Confidence to liaise with different functions, regulators, senior stakeholders, and ability to command respect.<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical &amp; regulatory knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiasm &amp; passion with strong influencing skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Internal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Strong interfacing is required at all levels:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R&amp;D, marketing, External affairs, legal, Supply Chain, Finance functions; consumer care<\/li>\n<li>Regional &amp; global: Network, Project Leaders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>External<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regulatory authorities, External technical forums, Trade association<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unilever is an organization committed to equity, inclusion, and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
