{"id":83778,"date":"2023-03-10T09:10:47","date_gmt":"2023-03-10T09:10:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=83778"},"modified":"2023-03-10T09:10:47","modified_gmt":"2023-03-10T09:10:47","slug":"sandvik-vacancies-2023-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/sandvik-vacancies-2023-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Sandvik Vacancies 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology\u00a0<\/strong>is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry including rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading, and hauling and materials handling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Service Engineer\u00a0<\/strong>will assist Site Supervisor to work on Sandvik fleets service and maintenance as well as the Parts\/tool store and drive cost efficiencies and capital profit through good leadership, strong customer relations, and best practice Safety, Health, and Environment effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Service Engineer \u2013 Mechanical\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for a safe work environment by contributing to job safety analysis, engineering technical standards, facility standards and work practices.<\/li>\n<li>Customer training and efficient technical service support pertaining all SMRT product supplied to customer base within West Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Installation and commissioning of Sandvik underground equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Guide and assist the various teams with fault diagnosis work on SMRT equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Perform repairs and fault finding using hydraulic schematics.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperate closely with the Sales Team to promote aftermarket parts sales.<\/li>\n<li>Provide relevant feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Work towards achieving set KPls.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all work in accordance to set budgets and timeframes.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out equipment condition audit and submit technical reports with parts recommendation.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all SMRT policies and procedures especially the SHEQ policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree Qualified Engineer or good trade background with relevant equipment technical and managerial experience.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in maintaining Underground products, ability to manage parts stores and oversee all technical maintenance scope of work aimed at delivering best practice<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance service support.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive Mechanical Engineering knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Strong business sense and EHS focus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, interpersonal and people management skills are essential.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and other MS office applications.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and work in remote locations for extended period of times is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Maintenance Management practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary and provide guidance to members of the team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technical &amp; Training Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For immediate consideration, please apply to the\u00a0<strong>Service Engineer (Mechanical) \u2013 Underground<\/strong>\u00a0position on or before 13th March 2023 on the Sandvik intranet,\u00a0<strong>Job ID:<\/strong>\u00a0R0052023<\/p>\n<p>We thank you for your application.
