Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Lecturer\/Senior Lecturer<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Meat Science and Technology Primary duties and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n The successful candidate will:<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 Teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n The applicant must:<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 Possess a PhD in Animal Science with specialization in Meat Science and Technology or Monogastric Animal Nutrition or Ruminant Animal Nutrition or Animal Physiology. For all applicants, teaching experience in a reputable university or a comparable institution will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n Remunerations:<\/strong><\/p>\n The salary and conditions of service for the position are similar to what pertains in Ghanaian Public Universities.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Monogastric Animal Nutrition
\n\u2022 Ruminant Animal Nutrition
\n\u2022 Animal Physiology<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Supervise research work of undergraduate and graduate students.
\n\u2022 Conduct scholarly research and publish the results.
\n\u2022 Follow the code of conduct established by the University of Ghana.
\n\u2022 Provide services to the Department, the University and Professional Organizations when the need arises.
\n\u2022 Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Be able to teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses in his\/her area of specialization.
\n\u2022 Have a strong practical background in Animal Production and in his\/her area of specialization.
\n\u2022 Have a strong research background and the ability to translate research findings into applied practice.
\n\u2022 Be able to teach other courses in Animal Science when the need arises.<\/p>\n
