{"id":8445,"date":"2012-07-13T05:42:58","date_gmt":"2012-07-13T05:42:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=8445"},"modified":"2016-11-14T10:48:26","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T10:48:26","slug":"segment-logistics-specialist-adexen-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/segment-logistics-specialist-adexen-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Segment logistics Specialist: Adexen Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Adexen Recruitment Agency<\/strong> is mandated by a leading international service provider for the Oil &amp; Gas Sector to recruit a Segment Logistics Specialist for its operations in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><br \/>\nResponsible for providing superior logistics and distribution of services at competitive cost to the field organization while managing the expectation of field organization.<br \/>\nResponsible for managing his\/her segments logistics needs on a day-to day basis.<br \/>\nThis position is based in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Be the customer focal point for all logistics related matters for movement of goods.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage logistics operations to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of shipments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Responsible for cargo request accuracy, descriptions, valuations, dangerous goods notes, controlled goods, harmonized tariff codes (HTC), country of origin.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure timely transmittal of documentation to customs brokers and certify all customs files are closed within regulatory time frame.<br \/>\n\u2022 Leads initiatives to realize domestic inbound \/ outbound freight savings.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provides daily operational support to business and Procurement Specialists regarding expected shipment arrival services.<br \/>\n\u2022 Responsible for the monitoring and data capture of logistics milestones.<br \/>\n\u2022 Keep all regulatory documents in proper filling as per country and retention policies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Expedite and follow up with suppliers until product availability at origin.<br \/>\n\u2022 Capture and report red money whiles assisting with T&amp;M monthly analysis.<br \/>\n\u2022 Direct contact with the well\/rigs for attending their daily work plan.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide support for controlling reimbursable freights.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare all cargo documentation for client access.<br \/>\n\u2022 Constantly work on consolidation and optimization of cargo transportation, seeking cost reduction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Management or relevant Qualification<br \/>\n\u2022 Must have minimum of 2 years work experience preferably in the logistics environment\/area or relevant experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Must be young, energetic and hardworking person<br \/>\n\u2022 Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook<\/p>\n<p>Kindly send us your Word CV at <strong>ADEXEN-954611@adexen.eu<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading international service provider for the Oil &amp; Gas Sector to recruit a Segment Logistics Specialist for its operations in Ghana.
