As part of the technical team, this position will be responsible in presenting training to internal and external customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Operator Trainer- Surface Equipment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities Include<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide OEM Technical Support to customers through the establishment of effective management systems<\/li>\n<li>Manage effective cost budget through initiating cost reduction measures whilst maintaining quality and environmentally safe and healthy practices.<\/li>\n<li>Take personal responsibility for Environment, Health &amp; Safety, and duty of care.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all customer and stakeholder relationship with respect to drill and blast hole operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure continuous improvement initiatives to promote Sandvik\u2019s business image and related product and service offering.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the personal and career development of subordinates.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all Sandvik Policies &amp; Procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Develop appropriate training, learning and development programs to ensure that the identified business needs are met.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain established training facilities and manage curriculum in accordance with Sandvik standards.<\/li>\n<li>Develop annual training plans in accordance with the business strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and provide a framework procedures, support, and guidance for accurate evaluation of training effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, engage, and manage appropriate third-party training providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree Qualified Engineer or good trade background with relevant equipment technical and managerial experience.<\/li>\n<li>Trainer assessor course role or five (5) years\u2019 experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Strong business sense and EHS focus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and people management skills are essential.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and other MS office applications.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and work in remote locations for extended period of times is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary and provide guidance to members of the team.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in operating, maintaining blast holes and reverse circulation drills.<\/li>\n<li>Acquired knowledge in rock tools and drilling operations in both surface and underground.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate in French will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Possess required MINCOM certification<\/li>\n<li>Possess relevant Ghanaian driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technical &amp; Training Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For immediate consideration, please apply to the\u00a0<strong>Operator Trainer- Surface Equipment\u00a0<\/strong>position on or before 31st March 2023 on the Sandvik intranet,\u00a0<strong>Job ID:<\/strong>\u00a0R0052030.<\/p>\n<p>We thank you for your application.
