You will also primarily write server scripts and APIs to be utilized by front-side engineers and UX designers. The day-to-day consists of optimizing servers for speed and stability, implementing security structures, generating reusable code libraries, maintaining of the central database, and generating data storage solutions.<\/p>\n<p>This is a\u00a0<strong>fully remote role<\/strong>\u00a0and requires you to be based in Accra for scheduled team meetups every once in a while.<\/p>\n<p>This is a highly visible role requiring extensive knowledge of the web applications ecosystem. Along with a clean, maintainable code, we are looking for this person to be a leader, a voice, and never shy away from learning something new or pushing the boundaries on what we can and should do.<\/p>\n<p class=\"title\">Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience working with real life, production environments and systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills and knowledge in building production applications using\u00a0<strong>LARAVEL\/PHP, NODEJS, MySQL\/MariaDB\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>AWS web-enabling technologies<\/strong>\u00a0is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in setting up\u00a0<strong>CI\/CD<\/strong>\u00a0pipelines<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of\u00a0<strong>GIT<\/strong>, efficient workflows and branching model.<\/li>\n<li>Professional working experience with project management tools like\u00a0<strong>JIRA<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Highly Proficient in HTTP, Web services and developing RESTFUL APIs.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience and ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge in managing production and staging database systems.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge in basic networking concepts and DNS management<\/li>\n<li>Solid OOP and software design knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of software development cycle<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with a CMS like\u00a0<strong>WordPress<\/strong>\u00a0is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS) is a plus but not required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"title\">Additional Information<\/p>\n<p>Why you\u2019ll love it here (seriously!):<\/p>\n<p>Your daily duties will have a meaningful impact on real people!
