{"id":86120,"date":"2023-05-01T16:17:32","date_gmt":"2023-05-01T16:17:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=86120"},"modified":"2023-05-01T16:17:32","modified_gmt":"2023-05-01T16:17:32","slug":"unilever-jobs-2023-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/unilever-jobs-2023-10.html","title":{"rendered":"Unilever Jobs 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title: <\/b><b>Finance Director \u2013 WA and Executive Finance Director for Unilever Ghana PLC<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The purpose of Finance Director is to drive 4G growth of Unilever\u2019s business in West Africa (Nigeria\/Ghana\/CDI) and lead the controls, governance and statutory matters resulting from being the board member responsible for finance.<\/li>\n<li>The job will also manage the transformation projects for WA<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will act as Finance Business Partner for the country leader and WA GM.<\/li>\n<li>The position requires strong leadership skills to lead and develop the finance team and act as a key member of the Leadership Team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Main Accountabilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Drive<\/b><b>Performance &amp; Strategy, Stewardship<\/b><b>,<\/b><b>\u00a0Disruption and Leadership by:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating with the business to deliver 4G Growth through value creation, accurate accounting records reporting and overall financial management.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting Investment Decision making in Categories &amp; Customers, e.g. assessment of new business opportunities, competitor \/ customer analysis;<\/li>\n<li>Driving value creation through category &amp; brand via setting up appropriate standard &amp; promo pricing strategy, launching innovations; defining right level of BMI support;<\/li>\n<li>Performance reporting, including business planning and forecasting, target setting and scenario analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Controlling of total local overheads costs. Fully accountable for Finance costs and organization.<\/li>\n<li>Supply Chain performance: monitoring of local SC performance and transfer prices effect via local SC Finance team &amp; of key value projects<\/li>\n<li>Actively contribute &amp; drive business transformation &amp; portfolio reshape agenda in line with Unilever strategy<\/li>\n<li>Drive Digital Transformation agenda in Finance &amp; Information Management strategy<\/li>\n<li>Forex Management \u2013 lead and guide operational teams on forex management practices across the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>External Networks \u2013 Build extensive external networks across different business interfaces (regulatory, trade partners, banks, and influencers and industry forums)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Protect Value:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Governance and Compliance \u2013 Monitoring adherence to all GFCF and Non GFCF controls, legal, regulatory, and statutory audit compliance as per the governance framework set by Unilever and the local regulations.
