{"id":86588,"date":"2023-05-12T14:46:49","date_gmt":"2023-05-12T14:46:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=86588"},"modified":"2023-05-12T14:46:49","modified_gmt":"2023-05-12T14:46:49","slug":"vodafone-vacancies-2023-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/vodafone-vacancies-2023-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone Vacancies 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Legal Pupil (Contract)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Purpose<br \/>\n<\/strong>To assist the Legal Team, particularly the litigation team in performing tasks diligently.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Transactions Unit with drafting and review of agreements<\/li>\n<li>Draft pleadings, motions, witness statements, and other court processes<\/li>\n<li>Draft letters, demand notices, and other correspondence<\/li>\n<li>Collate evidence and conduct research on case law<\/li>\n<li>Keep a record of changes in the law<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and conduct depositions of witnesses and experts for trial<\/li>\n<li>Hold case briefs for the Litigation team in court<\/li>\n<li>Attend court to represent Vodafone as a party in court<\/li>\n<li>Attend hearings at quasi-judicial bodies such as the National Labour Commission (NLC) and the Electronic Telecommunications Tribunal (ETC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies, Knowledge And Experience<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to draft pleadings and other court processes<\/li>\n<li>Must possess good and in- depth research skills in respect of statute law and case law<\/li>\n<li>Must have a working knowledge of courtroom procedure and administrative functions<\/li>\n<li>Must be capable of reviewing and drafting agreements<\/li>\n<li>Must have Record-keeping and management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical And Professional Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualifying and Practicing Certificate in Law<\/li>\n<li>Must have been called to the Ghana Bar 0 \u2013 3 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Not a perfect fit?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Worried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
