Perseus Mining (Ghana) Limited (PMGL) has recently commissioned the world-class Edikan gold project in the Western Region of Ghana. Edikan Gold Mine (EGM) has a current mining reserve of 3.3M oz of gold from a resource base of 4.3M oz. The Edikan processing facility has been designed as a 5.5Mtpa processing facility with the ability to expand this to 8Mtpa in the future. The plant is capable of producing at a rate of 220-270,000oz gold<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Perseus Mining (Ghana)\u00a0Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the position of:\u00a0Electrical Instrumentation Supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>The Electrical Instrumentation Supervisor, reporting to the Senior Electrical Instrumentation Supervisor, will be responsible for the effective maintenance of the electrical systems of Processing Plant and site Infrastructure at the Perseus Mining (Ghana) Limited, located near Ayanfuri.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and assign work to subordinates and ensure all their duties are carried out in a safe, efficient and timely manner;<\/li>\n<li>Minimise processing costs, whilst maintaining\/exceeding mill availability targets;<\/li>\n<li>Attend monthly production planning meeting to understand long term operational priorities and advise of planned forecast equipment down time;<\/li>\n<li>Develop job procedures, and ensure all standard jobs are up to date and have all necessary parts and labour identified to perform the task; and<\/li>\n<li>Maintain regular and effective communication and feedback with peers, subordinates and supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The position is site based and the Company offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the candidates&#8217; qualifications and experience<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful applicant must possess degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with 10 years professional work experienced in fixed plant maintenance of large-scale gold processing operations with at least 5 years recent experience in a similar role, and relevant electrical qualifications to meet statutory requirements (HV\u00a0Experience, HV Switching, Computer Skills, Develop Procedures and knowledge of PLC Instruments and Controls)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested qualified applicants should submit one MSWord document only which includes a cover letter, detailed CV of his\/her qualifications and work history and the names of at least 3 referees.
