{"id":87191,"date":"2023-05-30T14:11:33","date_gmt":"2023-05-30T14:11:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=87191"},"modified":"2023-05-30T14:11:33","modified_gmt":"2023-05-30T14:11:33","slug":"guinness-jobs-2023-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/guinness-jobs-2023-6.html","title":{"rendered":"Guinness Jobs 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Purpose of the role<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work at the tier 1 &amp; 2 to deliver Asset Care functional expertise across the area\/site and lead the shift Asset Care Technicians and support the day based asset care support team to resolve sophisticated equipment problems<\/li>\n<li>Actively lead and sponsor CAPEX and innovation activity at site level<\/li>\n<li>Lead and advocate good governance around internal and external compliance (health &amp; safety, quality and environment).<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Improvement \u2013 accountable for specialist improvement activity<\/li>\n<li>Provide high levels of specialist support to the operations teams.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively lead on performance analysis that drives improvement actions that address adverse performance trends.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the MMS Asset Care deployment within the Asset Care within areas of responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Operating Equipment Manufacturers to drive faster problem solving and greater plant availability<\/li>\n<li>Support in delivery of outstanding performance in all aspects of the balanced scorecard (Safety, Quality, Environment, Asset Care, Delivery, Productivity, Cost and Morale).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title: Mechanical Engineer<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Key Accountabilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure alignment to Health &amp; Safety, Environmental and Quality Standards and compliance to maintenance regulatory standards at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the deployment of the MMS Asset Care practices in the shift asset care teams and within the support team<\/li>\n<li>Lead the specialist support team to ensure maximum equipment availability<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the asset care team complete all scheduled specialist improvement activity.<\/li>\n<li>Attend daily asset care review meetings, and take appropriate action to provide support to course correct non conformance<\/li>\n<li>Continuously drives for next level of performance through review of Autonomous Maintenance, Asset Care and Focussed Improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective management of spare parts<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership for the asset care budget and ensure most efficient solutions are completed<\/li>\n<li>Develop team morale, recognise great performance and take timely action to address under performance where vital<\/li>\n<li>Role model and coach team in the use of problem-solving tools<\/li>\n<li>Apply specialist knowledge to lead improvement projects using DMAIC methodology<\/li>\n<li>Engage with the Daily Operational Review meetings to raise, discuss and follow up on persistent performance issues to root cause problem solving and effective control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Entry level requirements \u2013 skills and experience<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A qualified time served trade BSc\/Hnd Mechanical<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years supervisory experience in an operations environment<\/li>\n<li>Relevant IBD qualification (General Certificate in Spirits\/Beer Packaging) or willing to complete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience Essential:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to manage people performance, coaching and development of a multi-disciplined team<\/li>\n<li>Thorough solid understanding and demonstrated expertise in all areas of plant in area<\/li>\n<li>Proactive structured problem-solving skills learnt through exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or Manex<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of RCPS, 5S, Set Up Time Reduction, Autonomous Maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Basic financial awareness, understanding of business drivers, budgeting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in use of standard business (MS Office) and Diageo packages.<\/li>\n<li>Project Management skills &amp; experience<\/li>\n<li>Track record of maintenance management \u2013 important metric improvement, planning effectiveness and alignment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desirable:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good solid understanding of Environmental legislation and standards<\/li>\n<li>Best in class people management practices<\/li>\n<li>Commercial understanding of production &amp; supply chain management.
