JOB SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for developing, leading, contributing to, implementing and advising on various initiatives that align with T-TEL\u2019s organizational culture and values.
\n\u2022 The incumbent will serve as the subject matter expert for managing the functional areas in human resources which include but not limited to Recruitments, Compensation and Benefits Management, Learning and Development, Performance
\nManagement and Employee Engagements.
\n\u2022 Further, s\/he will provide guidance and counselling to staff if necessary while ensuring the growth, development and well-being of team members.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title: Human Resource Officer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

RECRUITMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide guidance to line managers\/supervisors on crafting job descriptions for employees and scope of work for consultants.
\n\u2022 Collaborate with line managers and supervisors on the recruitment of vacancies and new roles that will arise within the organization.
\n\u2022 Support the General Manager-Commercial on the recruitment of consultants for the programmes managed by T-TEL.
\n\u2022 Manage new joiners orientation and on-boarding process, through to confirmation.
\n\u2022 Manage the off-boarding process in case of employee separation while ensuring positive experiences for the employee.
\n\u2022 Use understanding and knowledge of local and applicable international labour laws and regulations to ensure T-TEL is always in compliance with legal requirements<\/p>\n

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Support General Manager-Commercial in the management of bi-annual staff performance review process.
\n\u2022 Monitor the performance management process to ensure an effective process which will ensure staff growth and development.
\n\u2022 Collaborate with line managers\/supervisors to implement performance management plans set by the organization.
\n\u2022 Develop a succession planning system for the organization<\/p>\n

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Lead in the development of annual training plan and support its implementation.
\n\u2022 Manage the organization\u2019s Employee voucher scheme to support effective learning and development.
\n\u2022 Provide continuous feedback to Senior Management Team on the progress of the Employee Voucher Scheme to ensure its implementation support organizational goals and values.
\n\u2022 Initiate innovative approaches to Talent Management and Learning & Development within the organization.<\/p>\n

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS MANAGEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Develop competency and leveling framework.
\n\u2022 Manage and periodically update the organization\u2019s salary grading system.
\n\u2022 Conduct bi-annual salary benchmarking surveys to inform decision making.
\n\u2022 Review periodically benefits and compensation package.
\n\u2022 Review and manage monthly timesheets submission for staff to inform payroll.
\n\u2022 Review and manage monthly invoice and timesheets submission for consultants.
\n\u2022 Manage and track all forms of staff absences including annual leave, family responsibility leave, sick leave etc.
\n\u2022 Manage T-TEL\u2019s employee wellness and other human resources related programmes<\/p>\n

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Manage Annual Staff and Key Advisors satisfaction surveys, analyze feedback to identify areas for improvements and develop action plans.
\n\u2022 Lead in the Formation of Welfare Association for staff
\n\u2022 Lead in the organization of staff durbars
\n\u2022 Provide coaching and guidance to line managers\/supervisors on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
\n\u2022 Collaborate with the Annual Planning committee.<\/p>\n

GENERAL<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Perform any other duties as may be assigned by General Manager-Commercial.
\n\u2022 Conduct periodic review of Human Resource manual and recommend modern industry best practices in HR for management consideration.<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION<\/p>\n

\u2022 Master\u2019s degree in human resource management. Having a professional certification is a plus.
\n\u2022 Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience working in human resource management or administration.
\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
\n\u2022 Experience working on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
\n\u2022 Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
\n\u2022 Ability to plan, organize, multi-task and prioritize projects.
\n\u2022 Ability to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
\n\u2022 Excellent relationship-building skills.
\n\u2022 Reliable and a team player.
\n\u2022 Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
\n\u2022 Pro-active in raising issues with management and resolving identified problems.<\/p>\n
