He will also ensure planning and maintenance of heavy mining equipment parts e.g. tray and bucket in a responsible, safe, efficient and effective manner for high equipment availability and reliability<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring the achievement of high equipment availability within Industry standard<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) Ground Engagement Tools (GET) system is maintained and positioned in line with Gold Fields Ghana (GFG) operational requirements and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring GET and bucket\/tray life per machine with a weekly reporting system<\/li>\n<li>Managing and controlling the HME GET yard<\/li>\n<li>Implementing effective cost management and financial performance monitoring system<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and maintaining high performance and cohesive teams<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining a safe and friendly environments<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that effective engineering standards and procedures are developed and implemented in compliance with ISO I400I and OHSAS I800I requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that HME staff are effectively trained, developed, and supervised<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tertiary Qualification in Welding or related Engineering field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five (5) years experience in Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of CAT 785 Haul Truck tray and large (&gt;15m3) hydraulic excavator bucket maintenance and repairs<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in the application of different wear packages on buckets and Haul Truck trays<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in safe lifting practices<\/li>\n<li>First-hand knowledge in different GET types and applications<\/li>\n<li>A hands-on approach and willingness to work long hours<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Lean 6 Sigma experience<\/li>\n<li>SAP Proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Analytical thinking<\/li>\n<li>Business acumen<\/li>\n<li>Medical fitness for the position and environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HR Officer<\/p>\n<p>Tarkwa Gold Mine<\/p>\n<p>P.
