The Full Stack Developer will be part of a cross-functional team that\u2019s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.<\/p>\n<p>As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries, experience in building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. The full stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for Solv Ghana platform users.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Full Stack Developer, Solv Ghana Venture \u2013 SC Ventures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Technology Lead\/ Chief Technology Officer in driving the technical vision, strategy, direction of SOLV Ghana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the Technology Lead\/ Chief Technology Officer, and partners on the technology build, vendor engineering engagements, etc to help deliver features and capabilities aligned to the business model of SOLV Ghana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Processes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications<\/li>\n<li>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications<\/li>\n<li>Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems<\/li>\n<li>Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>People &amp; Talent<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the development of an appropriate culture that upholds the values of SOLV Ghana. Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to anticipate horizon risks that may have a significant impact on the Ventures Technology and help develop effective strategies to mitigate such risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend relevant meetings and provide relevant reports to Senior Management and Governance\/ Risk committees for the area of responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory &amp; Business Conduct<\/li>\n<li>Display exemplary conduct and live by the\u00a0Group\u2019s Values and Code of Conduct.<\/li>\n<li>Support the achievement within SOLV Ghana, the outcomes set out in the Bank\u2019s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Stakeholders<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Global Technology Team<\/li>\n<li>Other Tech Heads<\/li>\n<li>3rd party Vendors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in related discipline or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Ideally 2 \u2013 8 years of hands-on Experience in Java\/J2ee, Spring Boot, OOAD, Mysql\/ PostgreSQL, redis\/Hazelcast cache, Kafka, RabbitMQ<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Collections, Threads, Exception handling, Log4j, JDBC, J2EE, SQL<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of application development using Spring, Hibernate.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Design Patterns, REST, SOAP, Junit and Develop Self-contained Restful services<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience with\u00a0Microservices\u00a0architectures\u00a0and object-oriented analysis and design<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing, documenting and deploying MicroServices solution on cloud infra.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated hands-on experience using technologies Spring \/ MongoDB \/ Redis \/ MySQL \/ PostgreSQL<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated Cluster Management knowledge and experience using platforms including \u2013 Docker Swarm, Kubernetes<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience with System integrations using messaging including or like Kafka \/ RabbitMQ<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Web servers (Tomcat\/Jboss\/Wildfly\/Weblogic) and load balancing technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication Skill, flexible and good attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in Agile methodology.<\/li>\n<li>BE\/BTECH\/MCA Degree holder<\/li>\n<li>Any work related repositories Eg : Github<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About SC Ventures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SC Ventures (\u201cSCV\u201d) was established in 2018 with the purpose of \u201cRewiring the DNA in Banking\u201d by bringing three distinct areas together:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The eXellerator Lab, enabling innovation at large in the Bank by supporting intrapreneurs and their ideas, collaborating with fintech\u2019s through the SCV Fintech Bridge and engaging with clients and co-creation ideas<\/li>\n<li>The Investment Fund (\u201cFund\u201d), tasked to acquire minority stakes in fintech companies (\u201cfintechs\u201d) whose technology has been successfully validated in the Group<\/li>\n<li>Venture building, with the objective of exploring new business models (\u201cventures\u201d), in the way it engages existing new customers and markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary Full Stack Developer will support the Technology Lead\/ Chief Technology Officer in the building of a full technology stack to produce scalable software solutions.
