{"id":87705,"date":"2023-06-20T18:45:24","date_gmt":"2023-06-20T18:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=87705"},"modified":"2023-06-20T18:45:24","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T18:45:24","slug":"hubtel-jobs-2023-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/hubtel-jobs-2023-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Hubtel Jobs 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the backend engineering team as Team Lead to produce and implement functional software solutions.<\/p>\n<p>You will work with other engineers, product managers and key stakeholders to define and implement software requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Lead Software Engineer (Backend)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Perks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>State-of-the-art working environment<\/li>\n<li>Weekly allowance for lunch and internet data<\/li>\n<li>Access to office Gym and Games room<\/li>\n<li>Health Insurance including dental and eye care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead architecture designs in product development meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, prioritize and execute tasks from product requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the team to implement solutions from architecture and product design.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Product Managers, Infrastructure Engineers and others to identify performance issues, fix and improve products.<\/li>\n<li>Write clean, testable and scalable code using C#.<\/li>\n<li>Revise, update, refactor and debug brownfield codebases.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as an expert on backend applications and provide technical guidance to mid-level engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Implement guidelines on organizing the codebase for maintainability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong leadership skills and proven experience as a Team Lead.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive background in backend software development using C# (version 7 or higher) and .NET (3.1 or higher) ecosystem.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch), and caching systems (e.g., Redis).<\/li>\n<li>Possesses an analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Capable of working independently and demonstrating self-motivation.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional organizational skills and ability to lead a team effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in understanding and refactoring complex .NET Core solution codebases to meet modern standards.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled at estimating accurate timelines for upgrading projects at the team level.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable about advanced concepts such as Actor Model (specifically Akka.NET) and event streaming platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with advanced data structures in Redis and actively seeks to improve data structure and algorithm usage.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in applying scaling principles to production services when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable using architecture design tools and familiar with advanced UML diagrams.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identifies and solves problems before they impact users.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicates business and technical concepts to diverse audiences in a clear and understandable manner.<\/li>\n<li>Drives the team to implement recommended concepts for improved speed and quality.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with intermediate-advanced concepts of C# (Expression Trees, Reflection, threading, versioning, tooling, instrumentation, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be self-driven enough to work with little to no supervision<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to successfully lead a team of up to 8 engineers<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work from home with reliable internet connectivity and stable electricity supply in a quiet environment<\/li>\n<li>Must own a functional personal laptop capable of meeting the work demands.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment<\/li>\n<li>Must be attentive to details<\/li>\n<li>BSc in Computer Science\/Engineering or a related degree or higher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the backend engineering team as Team Lead to produce and implement functional software solutions.
