This organization is responsible for developing engineering blueprints for the mining sector in West Africa and also handles the tailing waste management sector. This role will be based at the head office in Accra, Ghana<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Engineering Manager \u2013 Ghana \u2013 Mining<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Managing Director, You are required to carry out the below responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for overseeing all mining engineering designs for existing and upcoming projects<\/li>\n<li>Writing effective engineering proposals, along with technical analysis reports<\/li>\n<li>You are responsible for managing and preparing proposals documents based on the client\u2019s budget, time &amp; scheduled requirements<\/li>\n<li>Supervising a combined team of 40 engineers &amp; drafting technicians for each mining project<\/li>\n<li>Manage technical documents, design calculations and implement safety policies<\/li>\n<li>You are required to carry out Engineering records duties on site projects, and must be present on site for each Mining project<\/li>\n<li>You are the main point of contact between the client and the organization and you are accountable for all the project budgets and quality standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Successful Applicant<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You bring 15 years of working experience as an Engineering manager who is managing engineering projects within the gold mine sector for West Africa<\/li>\n<li>Certified Professional Engineer &amp; an active member of a recognized engineering institution<\/li>\n<li>Previous educational background in geotechnical or Civil Engineering is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Working experience in developing engineering designs and proposals for gold mining &amp; tailing waste storage facilities<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Open pit and underground mining is a bonus<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated individual, who also brings strong leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English is required<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to relocate to Accra, Ghana<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client, an International Engineering consulting firm is currently expanding their operations in Accra, Ghana and are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their growing team.
